Suppression records
Retain permitted records of unsubscribes, hard bounces and complaints, and enforce them in the new workflow. Starting a fresh account is not a reason to resume sending to those addresses.
Email provider comparison
Move email carefully: authentication, suppressions and delivery events matter as much as the sending endpoint.
Evaluate MetaReach for SMTP and email service requirements if you want to discuss your sending setup with an India-based service team. SendGrid provides REST API and SMTP delivery with developer tooling. Compare the exact integration, reporting and reputation requirements before switching; a new relay does not automatically improve inbox placement.
SendGrid serves applications that send receipts, account messages, password resets and marketing email. Its Email API product supports REST and SMTP integration. If your application also uses dynamic templates, delivery-event processing or account-level sender controls, include them in the replacement specification.
MetaReach publishes SMTP, transactional email and email marketing services. Ask the team to confirm the required credentials, supported integration, sending limits, event reporting and support scope for your account. A managed email service should be evaluated using an authenticated test and real application behavior, not an assumed delivery-rate guarantee.
Read the official product references alongside your own account agreement. The MetaReach column describes the scope to review with our team; it does not promise identical features or a lower price.
| Area | SendGrid | MetaReach evaluation |
|---|---|---|
| Sending interface | SendGrid documents REST API and SMTP delivery. | Review the proposed SMTP or email integration; do not assume SendGrid API compatibility. |
| Templates | Identify any SendGrid template IDs and personalization fields used by your app. | Confirm the supported template format and rebuild or map the required content. |
| Domain authentication | Review the verified senders and DNS records in the current account. | Prepare the new sender configuration and verify SPF/DKIM alignment and DMARC reporting. |
| Delivery events | Inventory the existing bounce, complaint and delivery-event consumers. | Agree the available reports or callbacks and map them into your application. |
| Sending reputation | Existing reputation and suppression decisions affect current sending. | Preserve suppression rules and plan an appropriate traffic ramp; inbox placement is not guaranteed. |

Retain permitted records of unsubscribes, hard bounces and complaints, and enforce them in the new workflow. Starting a fresh account is not a reason to resume sending to those addresses.
Confirm the sending and return-path domains and the DNS records required by the new service. Coordinate changes so other authorized senders on the domain continue to work.
Check template substitutions, attachments, headers, retry logic and event processing. Test a password reset or receipt from trigger to received message and recorded outcome.
Choose by fit: keeping your current provider can make sense when its existing integrations and contracted features meet your requirements. Consider MetaReach when the proposed service scope, implementation plan and commercial terms match what your team needs.
Use a current SendGrid plan and a written MetaReach proposal for the same monthly and peak sending volumes. Include required account features, reporting and any dedicated infrastructure. Keep transactional messages and marketing campaigns identifiable so their requirements and costs can be assessed separately.

For an application that only uses SMTP, new credentials and host settings may be part of the change. You must still validate sender authentication, TLS settings, limits, suppressions and delivery reporting. SendGrid API and template integrations need separate work.
No drop-in API compatibility is promised. Confirm the supported MetaReach integration and map requests, templates, errors and event handling before moving the application.
No. Authentication, consent, recipient quality, sender reputation, content and mailbox-provider decisions affect placement. Evaluate the setup with monitored tests and agreed service terms.
Preserve and enforce relevant unsubscribe, bounce and complaint decisions using permitted exports and the replacement workflow. Do not treat a provider switch as permission to contact previously suppressed recipients.
