Fast2SMS vs MetaReach pricing compared at the same monthly volumes, so you can see which costs less for the way you send.
Fast2SMS is a popular self-serve SMS platform in India, known for its low ₹100 starting recharge and wallet-based pricing. Businesses look for an alternative once their volume grows, or when they want more help with DLT, templates and setup.
This page compares the two providers using the rates each one publishes, at the same monthly volumes, and is open about where Fast2SMS comes out cheaper. For a wider view across more providers, see our SMS pricing comparison for India.
Fast2SMS prices DLT bulk SMS by how much you recharge at a time, not by how many SMS you send a month. A bigger recharge unlocks a lower per-SMS rate for a set period.
| Recharge amount | Rate per SMS | Rate validity |
|---|---|---|
| ₹100 – ₹3,999 | ₹0.25 | Unlimited |
| ₹4,000 – ₹7,999 | ₹0.21 | 6 months |
| ₹8,000 – ₹13,999 | ₹0.19 | 6 months |
| ₹14,000 – ₹59,999 | ₹0.17 | 12 months |
| ₹60,000 – ₹1,29,999 | ₹0.15 | 12 months |
| ₹1,30,000 – ₹5,99,999 | ₹0.13 | 12 months |
| ₹6,00,000 and above | ₹0.11 | 24 months |

To compare like with like, the table assumes you recharge Fast2SMS for one month's volume at a time. The Fast2SMS rate shown is the one that recharge amount unlocks.
| Monthly volume | Fast2SMS | MetaReach (+18% GST) | Lower cost |
|---|---|---|---|
| 5,000 SMS | ₹0.25 = ₹1,250 | ₹0.40 = ₹2,000 | Fast2SMS |
| 10,000 SMS | ₹0.25 = ₹2,500 | ₹0.30 = ₹3,000 | Fast2SMS |
| 20,000 SMS | ₹0.21 = ₹4,200 | ₹0.20 = ₹4,000 | MetaReach |
| 50,000 SMS | ₹0.19 = ₹9,500 | ₹0.15 = ₹7,500 | MetaReach |
| 1,00,000 SMS | ₹0.17 = ₹17,000 | ₹0.12 = ₹12,000 | MetaReach |
| 5,00,000 SMS | ₹0.15 = ₹75,000 | ₹0.12 = ₹60,000 | MetaReach |
A lower Fast2SMS rate lasts for a fixed period: 6, 12 or 24 months depending on the recharge. When that period ends, the rate returns to the default ₹0.25 per SMS. Your remaining wallet balance stays usable, but it is then spent at the default rate.
In practice, this rewards businesses that recharge large amounts and send steadily. If your volume is seasonal, for example heavy during festivals and quiet in between, check how much balance you would carry past the validity date before choosing a large recharge.

We've kept Fast2SMS's side to what its own pricing page shows. For anything not covered here, Fast2SMS's website is the best source.
You send under 20,000 SMS a month, want to start with a small recharge, and are happy to manage DLT and templates yourself.
You send 20,000 SMS or more a month, prefer paying by monthly volume rather than large upfront recharges, or want a team to help with DLT approvals.
Compare the all-in cost: rate, GST, DLT charges, validity and support. The cheapest headline rate isn't always the cheapest bill.
Your DLT registration belongs to your business, not to your SMS provider, so switching does not mean starting over.
It depends on volume. Using both providers' published rates as of October 2026, Fast2SMS is cheaper below about 20,000 SMS a month, and MetaReach is cheaper from 20,000 SMS a month upwards. At 1 lakh SMS, MetaReach charges ₹0.12 per SMS against Fast2SMS's ₹0.17.
